On Saturday night Israeli navy boarded and took control of a boat taking life-saving supplies to Gaza. The Freedom Flotilla Coalition (FFC) organized the effort to take supplies including baby formula, diapers, food, and medicine to the people of Gaza.
The FFC states the Handala vessel was intercepted in international waters. Handala’s crew consisted of 19 activists and two journalists from various countries – including Australia, France, the UK and the US. The ship carrying desperately needed aid for Gaza has been redirected to Israel by their troops.
Per the BBC “The Israeli foreign ministry said the country’s navy stopped the boat “from illegally entering the maritime zone of the coast of Gaza” and breaking the blockade there.”

Being a kind human is radical work
Ain’t that the truth? I feel it more and more every day. Great ideas about how to be effective with your outrage.

I appreciated her guidance. I see the absurdity of sharing a post about not being a keyboard-only warrior from Instagram but that’s where it was so I’m owning it. We need so much radical work out here.

It’s atrocious. They stopped an aid boat last month, they won’t let trucks in. It’s obscene.
