Fun fact: when a bone in your wrist pops out of place it makes things like typing a crapshoot. Same with opening jars and bottles. And picking up ten pound cats. Plus closing drawers or chopping veggies or random wrist movements that have nothing to do with anything.
So very not good.
Think healing thoughts, y’all. I need normal wrist function back asap.
Let’s do some flashback photos for Monday fun.
One of my right ribs popped some months ago. I wanted to read in the yard and while I was slowly lowering my body, it happened. The excruciating pain! And the sound! I still don’t know if it got cracked or broken. Didn’t go to the doctor; not a fan of that. Though, I went the next day to the drugstore and they said I should get it checked out but there’s nothing I can really do about it. Ribs heal in time and it’s not advised to wear a girdle or something like that because it changes the shape of the rib cage. Also, the rib would not heal correctly. I couldn’t really breath for some days; just quick short breaths. Not to mention coughing or sneezing! I couldn’t carry a bag with the left hand because that made the right side engage the muscles to maintain balance. And I couldn’t sleep on the right side for 2 months. Still hurts sometimes. Whoever said that the 30s are your prime years… well, dude, it feels like I’m disintegrating 🤣🙈

I have a friend who repeatedly has issues with her ribs popping out of place and the pain sounds excruciating. I’ve rarely agreed with anyone who marks a decade as “these are the best years of your life!!!!!” I vote you must be extraordinarily strong as your body is trying its best to dissolve but here you are keeping on anyway!! Well done 🙂
