John, I can’t resist. My favorite all time guitar quartet and colleagues performed as part of their regular rep, a now standard piece written by member Andrew York, “Muir Woods” Having lived in the Bay Area during the mid-80s, this resonates with my sense of belonging, too. I found a video that incorporates the woods with their piece you might find ‘peace personified.’

We visited Muir Woods once and it was undeniably peaceful. We should probably plan a regular respite in the area.

I lived so close to the woods in Marin County and would spend regular time there. I would like to go back myself.
