Do you prefer your home painted in neutral colours with pictures or furnishings to add warmth and character?

I do. I lived through the era when people were like Break all the rules! We don’t have to live surrounded by beige walls! EMBRACE ALL THE COLOR!!! Which is great…right up until the moment you decide you can’t look at a (insert whichever bold pain color you chose) wall for one more second…

Painting is less of a project than wallpaper but it’s still a major project. Just pick paint colors from the wide range of neutrals (it doesn’t have to be a beige, people!) and make your life easier.

Do you prefer wooden/tiled floors or carpets and rugs?

I prefer carpets and rugs. These floors get too cold in the wintertime and my feet get too angry tromping around without any cushioning.

Do you have an outside patio, balcony, or decking?

We do. I don’t sit out there as much as I should.

Do you prefer a traditional bathroom with bath/shower or a wet room?

Hold on, I have to go google wet room.

Okay, that just broke my brain a little. I like a spacious area *similar to* a wet room but no, I need some sort of enclosure for my shower. It just feels too weird to stand in an open room and turn on spraying water.
