On April 8th I linked a TODAY Parents article about Atlanta-based photographer Kate T. Parker, who has done a recent photo series called “Strong is the New Pretty.”  Their interview with her was terrific, but I just can’t say enough about those photos…

Oh, the photos.  I can only dream that one day I’ll take pictures this powerfully beautiful.  They’re stunning.  Mesmerizing.  Full of joy and life and truth.

Ms. Parker’s getting serious buzz.  I guess the pictures are resonating with a lot of people — seeing something other than pristine, picture-perfect girls being celebrated is exciting.  The thought that we don’t have to be perfect to be beautiful is lovely.

I loved the pictures so much that I wanted to share them with you.
