There are barely words to describe how grateful I am to have BrightSide beside me on this journey.

I knew he was a good man when we met.  BrightSide made me laugh.  He held me when I cried.  He stood by me through a lot more ups and downs than you’d expect a college boyfriend to weather.

He’s been a true friend in every sense of the word.

And I’m grateful for all the love and support BrightSide’s brought into my life, but truly…my heart swells with immeasurable joy when I watch him with our kids.

Seeing them together is knowing the joy of family.  T-man and Bear feel BrightSide’s love washing over them in waves.  You can see it in the joy on their faces, the sheer delight when they feel his arms around them.  They trust him completely, and the way he adores them is unmistakable.

I’m incredibly blessed to have BrightSide as the other part of this mom-and-dad equation.  He’s so supportive – of me, of the kids, of the life we’ve built together.  I love watching him be this amazing dad, someone that T-man and Bear will hold forever in their hearts as the man who was always there to catch them.IMG_4213
