I think you’re right. I was talking with my son about something similar and explained that I really felt like it’s a generational thing — eventually his generation will be old enough to run things, and they’ll have an entirely different perspective. It’s encouraging.

As a general society we do have a long way. However, as individuals, I think we’re working in the right direction. My sons see mixed races and don’t question anything. They are who they are. Perhaps it’s the frequency of which they see diversity.
