Do you like fireworks?

Nope. Too loud, usually too crowded, way too overstimulating. Being a parent and trying to enthusiastically support this sort of event was torture.

Do you think fireworks should only be used by professionals?

Yes! I get so stressed hearing people light off fireworks in the neighborhood. Watching small children run around with things shooting off sparks makes me woozy.

Do you think today’s fireworks are value for money?

I can’t really answer this one seeing as I’m not exactly a connoisseur when it comes to purchasing fireworks.

What is your favourite and least favourite firework?

Without rescinding my hard NOPE to question #1 I’ll say the firework I like most is the soft crackly one that sprinkles a pretty white puff in the sky. It’s like a breath of fresh air amidst a sweaty, anxiety producing, ear splitting marathon.
