The gatherings have been had. Mostly. The ones at my house, anyway.
There was delicious food and decent coffee and that terrible gravy I’ll now obsess over for a month. It tasted too good to throw out but looked so atrocious I can hardly believe I kept it on the counter. Now it sits in my fridge, prompting a new stream of what fresh hell IS this whenever I spoon some out to heat.
The Tetris of leftover containers is creating a real stacking hazard, and last night I came across an open cup of iced tea just tucked aside on a fridge shelf. Madness! There’s very little chance that thing won’t get knocked sideways while we’re all fumbling around in there for lunch nibbles.
One more batch of baking today and then we’ll rest. Happy November.
So hope it’s such a happy December for you.

yes, I have things piled in crazy ways, and I’m working my way through combining and tossing and using them

It’s still a bit of a mess here…I guess eventually I’ll get a handle on it. 😂

Sounds all too familiar (except for the tea)

It seems a universal experience at the moment.
