What is the most incredible natural venue that you’ve ever seen in person?
Most of Kauai. The shoreline, the beaches, the trees and flowers. I particularly loved Queen’s Bath.
How many siblings do you have? What’s your birth order?
I have two siblings – an older sister and a younger brother. Yep, call me Jan, The Middle Child.
If you were a shoe, what kind of shoe would you be and why?
Your most comfortable sneaker. The kind of shoe you can wear all day long and not feel the least bit discomfort. The shoe that lets you walk for days, making your legs stronger with each step.
What is the strangest/weirdest thing you have ever eaten?
Anchovies. (I know, not terribly strange, but it’s the only thing that comes to mind at the moment.)
Bonus question: What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?
Spending time with a good friend and the endless giggles of tweens having fun.
This week I’m coming back out of my fuzziness, and everything feels more…real. Like my feet are on the ground again. I’m looking forward to stepping back into my life.

I may have had anchovies on pizza once or twice when I was young. I know I haven’t as an adult. I’m strictly a pepperoni and cheese person now. Thanks “Jan” for sharing.
