What did you have for lunch yesterday?

Yesterday was leftovers — salmon, mashed potatoes, and broccoli.

Did you have a dessert, and if so, what was it?

I didn’t. I don’t typically have dessert at lunch unless I’m craving sweets.

Do you have a sweet tooth?

I do but it’s more manageable than when I was younger. I used to eat all the sweet things all the time – cookies, candy, ice cream, cakes. It was delightful. When I went gluten free a lot of those things dropped off my allowed list so I think my sweet tooth reset. Now it comes in waves.

I read recently that a leading manufacturer has reduced the amount of cocoa in their chocolate biscuits, and it is now referred to as chocolate flavoured. Would you still buy such a product knowing that the chocolate actually isn’t.

Probably not. I would definitely think harder about the purchase because if they’re using less cocoa and calling it “chocolate flavoured” then they’re adding something to create the chocolate taste. Honestly at this point I’d almost rather have the chocolate itself.

The first few trees locally I’ve spotted with leaves turning a bright orange, access to the flu shot, and two kitties who snuggle with me when I’m feeling puny from said vaccine.
