JoAnna over at Anything is Possible! took Saturday’s stream of consciousness prompt in a wonderful direction. Among much wisdom is this:
“I don’t have to change the whole world as I imagined as a teenager, but I do need to make some ripples in my little pond.”
'Do not be daunted by the enormity of the world’s grief. Do justice now. Love mercy now. Walk humbly now. You are not obligated to compete the work, But neither are you free to abandon it.'

Timing on this coincides with my fervor to find this quote that has been singing in my mind for weeks: “He has shown you, oh (wo)man, what is good; And what does the Lord require of you but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God.” Micah 6:8

The similarity between the two comforting quotes is interesting. I’m glad to know this is in Micah.
