Pop! Pop! Pop!
“Do you have any popping or clicking in that wrist?”
Uhhh…just 92% of the time. No biggie.
Except that’s a big fat lie. It feels very much like a biggie, particularly after an expert flipped that joint up, down, and all around.
Sooo much popping. An unpleasant grinding sensation as well, if I’m honest about it.
Is this mid-fifties life? I get it, I can adapt, it’s just…a new way of life filled with passive aggressive body parts and a cranky relationship with rain.
Pop!
Linda hosts Stream of Consciousness Saturday. This week’s prompt is “pop.” Use it any way you’d like. Enjoy!

I feel like one of those airfix kits these days that needs gluing again.

Before I retired, I had a lot of trouble with my hands from so much typing at work and home. Since retiring, they’ve gotten much better in some ways. Or maybe I’m just getting used to it. Getting older is an adventure.

It looks like I’ll be having surgery so eventually I should get back to a pain free wrist…that’s the goal.

Yes, this seems to be a problem that can only be cured by surgical intervention. Best of luck dear friend

Exactly. I’m known my husband since I was twenty and it’s always hilarious to hear him exclaim “what was THAT?!” after some crazy loud pop of mine.
