La Sagrada Familia is a stunning church. Construction began in 1882 and Gaudí took over the project in 1883, adding his unique architectural and engineering styles. Their projected completion date is 2026.
There are beautifully unique stained glass windows with vibrant colors throwing beautiful light into the church.
The area directly above the sanctuary stretches up and up and up, narrowing so that the light entering at the top makes it look as if you’re staring into heaven itself. Bear gazed upward for a long moment before whispering, “Grandma has seen this.”
Everywhere you look the beauty and majesty is overwhelming.
We came to the end of our morning and were quietly reflecting before it was time to go. We were looking around one last time when T-man turned to me and said, “Mom, I see Grandma everywhere in here.”
It was a remarkable morning indeed.
